Can you believe there are only 5 weeks left of the Farmers Market!

Here’s some of the upcoming events:

*Saturday, September 27th from 10-noon: “Music at the Market” by Ben Hassenger

*Saturday, October 4th from 11-4pm: ” Heritage Festival” at the Historical Village, across the wooden bridge.

Blueberries and peaches are in their last week at the market… so get them while you can.  Apple cider is now available at the market along with everyone’s favorite, Honey Crisp apples.  Also, come and pick out your pumpkins and gourds for the fall season many varieties available.

We also have a new vendor on Wednesdays, Runkel Orchards, home of the Runkel Apple.  Come and hear the story of how this apple came into existence.

If you don’t see a product that you usually enjoy, be sure to ask the farmer if the torrential amount of rain has hurt your favorite crop. But not to worry- farmers are usually resilient and clever and will find other great items to bring to the market!

We’re still in the full swing of things- so let’s hope for a little more warm weather to keep things growing!
